Thumbs up to Under Armour!

Under Armour came up with their own line of basketball shoes.
Even though the basketball shoe market is tough due to giants like Nike, Adidas, and Reebok, Under Armor is doing a great job penetrating the market.
They took a great risk by signing an athlete straight out of high-school. He did not even start his professional career in the US; he went to Rome to play professionally for a season before entering the draft as the 10th overall pick: Brandon Jennings
I wondered how good his shoes could be despite being the brand's first attempt to create a basketball shoe.
Surprisingly, they seem to perform very well: Under Armour Micro G Lite received an A- in performance in the Sole Collector: http://blog.eastbay.com/shoes/features/performance-review-under-armour-micro-g-lite/
The Micro G Lite are not even the best basketball shoes made by Under Armour! The best ones, the ones Jennings wears now days, is the Black Ice, for those of you interested.

Jennings seemed to give the return on investment expected by Under Armour: As a rookie, he starts for the Milwaukee Bucks, and he became the youngest player in NBA history to score 50+ points (20 years and 52 days, against the Golden State Warriors), scoring 55. Near the end of his rookie season, however, his production dropped, and he ended up third in the rookie of the Year award. He was able to lead the Bucks to the playoffs, where they fought the Hawks hard without their star, Andrew Bogut.

Jennings has been struggling with injury, but he is slowly coming back. I wish him, Michael Redd, the Bucks, and Under Armour, the best in the future.

I'm looking forward to Under Armour!
